Travel Safe

The experience of TASWA Challenge will no doubt be one of the single most exciting experiences you will ever take part in. However there are a number of inherent risks which should be seriously considered before taking part in any of our challenges. As you would expect both our administrative team in the UK and our experienced overseas crew members will use their expertise in order to minimise the potential risks of taking part in an expedition with TASWA Challenge. Every aspect of every expedition has been carefully considered and risk assessed before being included in any of our itineraries and those activities that are included are run in conjunction with licensed local organisations and tour operators that have been vetted by all relevant national tourism boards.

However before you go!!

It is imperative to check independent advice from all appropriate UK sources that are listed in our links of interest section. Here you will be able to get the latest health and safety travel news for any of the destinations you choose. As an ongoing process TASWA Challenge continuously liaises with the foreign commonwealth office so that if it is deemed necessary to make amendments to the itineraries or indeed the cancellation of any of our challenges we shall do so without prior notice.

Once you have booked your place!!

You can expect a pre-departure pack detailing all the information you need regarding your expedition, more detailed itinerary, health advice and what you can expect (and what sometimes unexpectedly can come your way) on your trip.

Don't forget.

A tremendous amount of time and energy goes into making sure no stone is left unturned regarding the safety of our trips. However it is important to remember that travelling to the far reaches of the world always has the propensity to become volatile and potentially dangerous without notice. On the other hand the vast majority of travellers pass through their host nations without harm and any problems they do incur tend to be self-inflicted (like losing your passport). As previously mentioned all our crew members have previous experience of travelling within the countries and are well trained in responding to potential hazards and crisises that may occur. Furthermore our overseas tour partners will always be at hand for any additional support needed to ensure that health and safety is the number one priority for all our expeditions.
